Not everyone can keep up the good work. When this place was boarded 4 or 5 years ago by accomplices from faraway lands such as Normandy and Paris, few people would have bet their last Mauritian coin that it would work. Then what happened just happened: it is really going well! It's just that in such a touristic area with its beach and sun cream customers are welcomed with a smile and served quickly without being pushed out to leave room for the next lot. Thus brothers, lets appreciate good, well made food everyday which doesn't lack subtlety. The sort that we would like to see amongst the restaurant owners and their heavy handed manners in the area. I don't hesitate a second "l'os à moelle grillé" (grilled marrow bone). It's with this sort of dish that you can judge a restaurant. This time the chef adds garlic and parsley, 14,5/20. To follow "côte de veau poêlée au cidre" (fried veal with cider). According to the proverb: it's the sauce that makes the fish! Well this chef's cider sauce makes the veal rib! Delicious! Garnishng: crystallised apples and tagliatelles, and two glasses with ratatouille and courgette flan. 14,5/20 seems indicated. Believe it if you like but Mauricette starts mumbling about G.W. Bush as soon as she starts her "blues burger". It's a gourmet sort of burger served on a big plate and not in a cardboard box. Chips and fresh salad. The lady with the green hat concludes by saying "vérigoude" whilst licking her rings! Then she puts on her cowboy boots and just like Lucky Luke gets on her rarlydavitson and heads out towards the west with her hat flying in the wind. Nooo! It's not true! 14,5/20 for her burger! We notice well known braziers on most of the tables, our next door neighbours stuff themselves up to here! A barbecue on the table with meat and chips at will. I might just as well say that it's a bargain. The winter menu includes things like pork with apples, veal liver with cider vinegar, roast camembert potatoes with bacon... and a few other greedy recipes. Meat lovers will be satisfied, XXL sized entrecote and tartar sauce! Super economical menu at 16 €! We are amazed by the Blues Beach team's daily strength! Yet again!
